Thanks for the nice trip we made in the Simien Mountains! It is really a wonderful place. We enjoyed the beautiful landscapes, the nature and the incredible stars constellation by night. It was magic! The food was great! Who can imagine cooking like this with such a basic equipment and almost no light! We will keep unforgettable memories from this 3-days trek and from Ethiopia. wooow...the logde du château is just amazing!!!i have never seen somthing similar in ethiopia. it looks like a paradis with the flowers in the pak, the geat view to the castel and to the gondarian mountains and with its taditional buildings...even the small details like the roomnumbers in ge'ez are just so wonderful! but the most important thing is the geat and familiar atmosphere! i'm looking very forwart to visiting again next year!

I had a wonderfull time hiking in the Simien mountains, thanks to Seyoum and Tena for being such kind and good organisers! The guide, as well as the driver and the scout were all of them very professional, and made us explore the amazing cliffs of the highlands. Seyoum took really great care of us, as well as for organising the trip in the highlands, as to find a hotel in Gonder and even helping us till the airport when we had to buy a very last minute ticket... I went on a Simian mountain trek with Explore Abyssinia They helped me find people to share the trip with and they arranged the trip on a very short notice. Everything worked precisely and on the best possible way. The attitude was as friendly as it gets Needless to say the Simian park has breathtaking views and we were able to explore them with the guidance we got from Explore Abyssinia

We had a lovely unexpected welcome at the airport from Seyoum , bearing a bunch of meskel daisies ! From there on nothing was too much for Seyoum , who arranged a wonderful 5 day trek for us in the stunning Simien Mountains .All the staff on the trek were very proficient and great company and the food was the best we have had in Ethiopia !Anyone coming from October 2009 could also stay at Seyoum's newly built lodge ( with a garden ) beside the Royal Enclosure in Gondar...we have seen it nearly finished and really wish it had been ready in time for us to stay there ! I went to Simien Mt. with eight friends on 11th Sep. We enjoyed everything during 4 nights and 5 days. Simien Mt. was very beautiful place that I've been to stay. Abbysinia travel agecy helped us spend a good time in there.They prepared the best cook, guide and so on. So we have nothing to worry about tekking. Simien Mt. had the best landscapes and sightseeing. I am sure that you will be satisfied to choose Simien and this aency. When we went there it almost finished rainy season. Every flower was bloomed and tree was green. We stayed 3 camps and every camp was clean. When you arrive camp after tekking every step will prepare tent, food, water and so on. Don't worry, just choose!!

We spent 4 days in the Simien mountains with EAT and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide Gasho, cook Bizet and the others made the journey a real pleasure - Bizet's soups even made the shockingly cold mountain evenings seem a little warmer! We saw lots of wildlife: red fox, ibex and even a serval cat chasing baboons, thanks to Gasho, our scout and to luck. We were lucky to be able to visit such a spectacular place, and would recommend EAT to anyone else looking for a quality full-service trip. Dear Explore Abyssinia Team Thank you for the excellent trip you organized. every team member has done an excellent job -Ms. Tena for the professional organization -Taddele for the excellent tour guide and excellent responce to our wishes and making very good proposals. he has good English knowledge and ad was able to answer all kind of questions all topics and even more important also to say if he was not absolutely swe of an answer. -Nega the very good cook, preparing great meals and waches uner all circumstances -Kebde the very relaiable scout please enswe that he (or other Scout)do have appropriate gear with then for the cold nights i will definetely recommand your Compny

I did a four days trekking in the Simien mountains organized by Explore Abyssinia, which had been recommended to me by some fellow travellers. A fortuitous decision: the mountains are an unique experience, and on top of that everything was very well arranged with very nice personalized details! For me, travelling alone, it was important that the local team made me feel respected and safe at all times. So I recommend the agency as a contribution to investing in local people and economy!

Hi, I spend some time travelling around the Semiens Mountains in Easter 2008, Seyoum and Explore Abyssinia helped organise some of my trip and I find them friendly and helpful at all times. Everything was very professional and Seyoum and Tena and the staff at explore take a personal interest in all their guests. Highly recommended.
